Cody Hardin

Cody Hardin is a Research Engineer for the MSU Advanced Composites Institute with over a decade and a half of aerospace composites manufacturing engineering experience at Mississippi-based aerospace manufacturers.  Cody earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Mississippi State in 2008 and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Arkansas State University in 2018.  Cody has held multiple roles at GE Aviation, Northrop Grumman, and Aurora Flight Sciences where he manufactured composites for a wide variety of aerospace projects including the LEAP, GEnx, and GE90 turbofans, the Atlas V and Delta IV launch vehicles, the B-21 Raider, MH-60 Seahawk, HH-60 Pave Hawk, Boeing Starliner, and the Virgin Galactic Mothership.  Cody is a co-founder of the MSU Space Cowboys rocket design team and currently serves as a mentor to the team. In 2022, Cody was an inaugural recipient of the MSU Reveille 25 award.
