Matthew Hendrickson

Matthew Hendrickson is a dedicated Research Engineer II at the Advanced Composites Institute and an accomplished graduate of Mississippi State University, holding an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA. Since joining ACI in May 2021, Matthew has excelled as the operations manager, where he meticulously plans and oversees multiple projects. His collaborative efforts with leading partners in the composite research and development industry are instrumental in exploring innovative composite manufacturing opportunities. At ACI, Matthew manages a talented team of composite technicians where his mission is to enhance departmental efficiency and reduce program costs by identifying key parameters and metrics. He also continually strives to develop and refine technologies and processes that drive the composite manufacturing industry forward. Matthew is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Mississippi State University.
